Most people rinse it out too soon.

Hair Honey Pro-Keratin Growth Conditioner 200ml

Conditioner is the half of wash day that actually decides how your hair feels — and it’s the half almost everyone rushes. Squeeze the water out first, keep it off your roots, give it three minutes, and detangle while it’s still in. Four small changes, and this bottle will outperform anything you’ve used before.

96% NATURAL

Silicone-free, sulphate-free and paraben-free. Real conditioning rather than a plastic coating that washes off.

DERMATOLOGIST TESTED

Assessed under dermatological supervision and safety-assessed to UK Cosmetics Regulation standards.

VEGAN & CRUELTY FREE

Halal certified and never tested on animals. No artificial fragrance or colours.

MADE IN THE UK

Blended and bottled in Britain in small batches, so every bottle arrives fresh.

HOW TO USE

Three minutes, done properly, beats ten minutes done the usual way.

STEP 1 — SQUEEZE THE WATER OUT

After rinsing your shampoo, squeeze your hair firmly from root to tip until it stops dripping. Soaking wet hair dilutes conditioner before it can bind to anything — this one step makes more difference than any other on this list.

STEP 2 — MID-LENGTHS AND ENDS ONLY

A 50p-sized amount, warmed between the palms, applied from the ears down. Your roots produce their own conditioning oils and don’t need help; conditioner up there is what makes hair flat and greasy by the next day. The ends are the oldest, most damaged hair you own — start there.

STEP 3 — DETANGLE WHILE IT’S IN

This is the moment your hair is at its most protected. Work a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush from the ends upwards, never from the roots down. More hair is broken during detangling than by anything else in the routine, and doing it here rather than afterwards is how you stop it.

STEP 4 — GIVE IT THREE MINUTES

Leave it while you finish your shower. Conditioning is a process, not a coating — the keratin, honey and oils need contact time to work. Rinsing straight away is the single most common mistake people make.

STEP 5 — RINSE COOL

Finish with the coolest rinse you can stand. Cool water lays the cuticle flat, which is what locks the moisture in and gives you shine. Ten seconds is enough, and it’s the difference between hair that looks conditioned and hair that just feels it.

Your Weekly Hair Ritual

HOW OFTEN

Every single wash, without exception. Shampoo lifts the cuticle in order to clean; conditioner lays it back down. Washing without conditioning leaves hair rough, porous and far more likely to tangle and snap — so if you’re ever tempted to skip one, skip the shampoo, not this.

HOW LONG TO LEAVE IT ON

Match the time to the job.

  • 1–2 minutes — a quick mid-week wash on hair that’s in good condition.
  • 3–5 minutes — the standard, and what we’d recommend for most people most of the time.
  • 10–15 minutes — a deep conditioning treatment for dry, damaged, coloured or coarse hair. Once a week.
  • 20+ minutes with warmth — cover with your Hair Halo and let body heat do the rest. For bleached, relaxed or badly heat-damaged hair that needs everything it can get.

Longer isn’t always better on fine hair — past about ten minutes it can start to feel weighed down. Build up gradually and see what your hair prefers.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Hair Honey Conditioner is built for

  • Dry, damaged or over-processed hair that needs moisture rather than a coating
  • Coloured and bleached hair, where porosity makes every wash a risk
  • Hair that tangles badly and breaks during brushing
  • Anyone who has switched to silicone-free and wants conditioning that lasts rather than washes off
  • Curly and coily textures that need slip and moisture to hold definition
  • Fine hair — used correctly, from the ears down, it conditions without flattening

Suits every hair type; the variable is how much and how long. Contains sweet almond oil, so please avoid if you have a nut allergy. Patch test on the inner elbow 24 hours before first use if your scalp is sensitive or reactive

What To Expect

KEY BENEFITS

  • Seals what shampoo opens: Cleaning necessarily lifts the cuticle. Conditioner closes it again — and a closed cuticle is what holds moisture in, reflects light and stops strands catching on each other.
  • Slip that prevents breakage: Detangling is where most people lose length without realising. Proper slip means the comb moves through instead of tearing, and that difference compounds over months.
  • Keratin, replaced: Colour, heat and daily wear strip keratin out of the hair. Pro-keratin puts it back at the point in your routine where hair is most receptive to taking it.
  • Conditioning without the coating: Silicones make hair feel smooth immediately, then build up, block moisture and need harsh detergents to remove. Honey, argan and sweet almond condition the hair itself — less dramatic in the shower, better three months in.

WAYS TO CONDITION

The standard.

Squeeze out, apply from the ears down, detangle, three minutes, cool rinse. This is your default at every wash and it takes no longer than your shower already does.

The weekly one.

Use twice the amount, comb through thoroughly, and leave for 10–15 minutes — or cover with your Hair Halo and give it twenty. Once a week for coloured, bleached, coarse or heat-damaged hair. This replaces the need for a separate hair mask.

For texture.

Apply generously to soaking wet hair, detangle fully with your fingers or a brush, then scrunch upwards in sections while the conditioner is still in. Rinse only partially, leaving a little behind, and scrunch again.Defines clumps and keeps frizz down as hair dries.

KEY INGREDIENTS

HONEY

The hydrator. A natural humectant that draws moisture into the hair and holds it there, rather than sealing over the top of dry hair the way silicones do.

PRO-KERATIN

The rebuilder. Hair is largely keratin, and damage depletes it. Replacing it at the conditioning stage reinforces the fibre where it’s weakest.

ARGAN OIL

The smoother. Vitamin E and essential fatty acids that lay the cuticle flat for shine, softness and considerably less frizz.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

The slip. Light and fast-absorbing, it gives the conditioner the glide that lets you detangle without tearing.

PAIR WITH

The rest of wash day

The matching half. SLS-free, 95% natural, and formulated to clean without stripping — so your conditioner isn’t spending its time repairing damage the shampoo just caused.

Step 3 is where you save your length. Conditioner for slip, the right brush for the job, working from the ends upwards — that combination is the cheapest way to stop losing hair to your own routine.

For damaged hair, condition then finish. A few drops raked through damp hair after your cool rinse seals everything in and protects the ends before you style.

Frequently asked questions

Because there are no silicones in it. Silicones coat the hair with a slick film that feels remarkable in the shower and then builds up, blocks moisture from getting in, and needs a harsh sulphate shampoo to remove. This conditions the hair itself. It’s less dramatic on day one and considerably better by month three.

Your scalp already produces its own conditioning oils, so the roots don’t need it — and conditioner sitting up there is the usual reason hair goes flat and greasy quickly. From the ears down is the rule.

Three to five minutes for a normal wash. Ten to fifteen once a week if your hair is dry, coloured or damaged. Rinsing it straight back out is the most common mistake people make, and it wastes most of the product.

Yes — they do different jobs. The oils are treatments that go on before washing or as a finish afterwards. Conditioner is what closes the cuticle immediately after shampooing, and nothing else in your routine does that.

It’s formulated as a rinse-out, so we’d rinse it. If you want a little extra, leave a small amount in through the ends only when you rinse — and for a proper leave-in, a couple of drops of Bond Boost+ on damp hair does the job better.

Yes, and that’s exactly what Tab 2 is. Double the amount, comb it through, leave it 10–15 minutes, or cover with your Hair Halo and give it twenty. It removes the need for a separate mask.

A 50p-sized amount for short to mid-length hair, more for long or thick hair. Warm it between your palms first so it spreads properly rather than landing in one place.

Not if you keep it from the ears down and rinse thoroughly. Fine hair should stick to three minutes rather than ten — past that it can start to feel heavy.

Yes, and coloured hair especially benefits. Colour makes hair more porous, which means it loses moisture faster and needs the cuticle sealing after every wash.

No — please don’t. The formula contains sweet almond oil, which is derived from a nut.

Around 25 to 30 washes for short to mid-length hair, so roughly two months at three washes a week. Long, thick or deep-conditioning use will get through it faster.

Stop use and rinse thoroughly. As with any new product, patch test on the inner elbow 24 hours before first use if you have a sensitive or reactive scalp.
