For hair that’s been through it.

Argan Almond Bond Boost+ Hair Oil 100ml

Heat, bleach, colour, hard water, weather — damage accumulates quietly until one day the hair feels rough, dull and impossible. Bond Boost+ is the rescue oil: argan, sweet almond and coconut, blended light enough to use as often as you need it. This page covers how to use it as a treatment, how to use it daily, and where each one fits.

NATURAL OIL BLEND

Argan, sweet almond and coconut at the core. No silicones, no mineral oil, no fillers.

DERMATOLOGIST TESTED

Assessed under dermatological supervision and safety-assessed to UK Cosmetics Regulation standards.

CRUELTY FREE

Never tested on animals. Vegan-friendly formula, start to finish.

MADE IN THE UK

Blended and bottled in Britain in small batches, so every bottle arrives fresh.

HOW TO USE

The deep repair treatment. Thirty minutes before you wash, once or twice a week.

STEP 1 — START DRY

Apply to dry hair, not damp. Water blocks oil from getting into the hair shaft, so the repair treatment only works properly on dry strands. Brush through first to remove any tangles.

STEP 2 — MID-LENGTHS AND ENDS FIRST

Dispense 8–10 drops, warm between your palms, and work through the mid-lengths and ends before you go anywhere near the roots. This is where damage lives — the oldest hair on your head has had the most heat, the most colour and the most brushing.

STEP 3 — WORK IT IN

Smooth down the hair shaft in the direction of growth, root to tip, then gently squeeze sections in your palm. Pay particular attention to the bottom two inches and anywhere that feels rough, dry or straw-like.

STEP 4 — LEAVE IT

Give it a minimum of 30 minutes. Coconut oil is one of the few oils small enough to actually penetrate the hair shaft rather than coat it, and that takes time. Overnight under your Hair Halo is better still for badly damaged, bleached or coarse hair.

STEP 5 — WASH AND CONDITION

Shampoo the dry oil first before adding water, rinse, then follow with conditioner as normal. Don’t skip the conditioner — the oil has done the repair work, the conditioner seals the cuticle down behind it.

Your Weekly Hair Ritual

HOW OFTEN?

As a pre-wash treatment: once or twice a week. As a leave-in on damp hair or a finish on dry ends: daily, if you want to. Bond Boost+ is the lightest of our three oils and the only one designed to live in your hair rather than be washed out of it. Badly damaged or bleached hair can take twice-weekly treatments plus daily use on the ends.

HOW LONG SHOULD I USE IT?

This is the fast one

Damaged hair responds visibly sooner than thinning hair does, because you’re smoothing and sealing something that already exists rather than waiting on new growth:

  • First use — immediate. Frizz drops, shine returns, and the comb moves through without catching.
  • Weeks 1–3 — hair holds moisture for longer between washes and stops feeling straw-like by day three.
  • Weeks 3–6 — fewer new split ends forming, and less damage accumulating from heat and styling.
  • Weeks 6+ — hair takes and holds a style better, colour stays richer for longer, and you get further between trims.

Existing split ends can’t be undone — nothing rejoins a split hair permanently. What this does is smooth and seal them so they stop travelling up the shaft, and prevent the next ones forming.

Is this the right oil for me?

WHO IS IT FOR?

Bond Boost+ is the one to reach for if:

  • You heat style regularly —straighteners, tongs, hot brush or daily blow-drying
  • Your hair is bleached, highlighted, coloured or chemically straightened
  • Ends are dry, rough, splitting or snapping off
  • Hair feels dull, frizzy or unmanageable rather than thin
  • You swim, or live somewhere with hard water
  • You want an everyday finishing oil as well as a weekly treatment

Suits every hair type — fine hair simply needs less. Contains sweet almond oil, so please avoid if you have a nut allergy. Patch test on the inner elbow 24 hours before first use if your skin is sensitive or reactive.

What To Expect

KEY BENEFITS

  • Repair where it counts: Coconut oil is one of very few oils with a molecular structure small enough to penetrate the hair shaft rather than sit on top of it, helping hair hold onto the protein that damage strips away.

  • Smoother, sealed cuticle: Argan oil lies the cuticle flat. That’s what shine actually is — light reflecting off a smooth surface instead of scattering off a raised, roughened one.

  • Frizz and flyaways, handled: Sealed hair holds its own moisture instead of pulling it from the air. Humidity stops being the thing that ruins your morning.

  • Light enough for every day: The lightest oil in the range. Two drops finish dry ends without grease, and it layers under heat styling without turning heavy.

WAYS TO USE YOUR OIL

One oil, three jobs. Most people end up using all three.

The deep one.

8–10 drops through dry mid-lengths and ends, 30 minutes to overnight, then shampoo and condition as normal. This is the routine that rebuilds condition over a course of weeks. Once or twice weekly.

The everyday one.

Warm 3–4 drops and rake through towel-dried hair before you style. It adds slip so the brush glides instead of tearing, puts a light barrier between your hair and the heat, and stops the ends drying out rough. Use it every wash day.

The quick one.

One to two drops, warmed between the palms and pressed over dry ends and flyaways. Tames frizz on humid days, revives second and third-day hair, and sharpens up the ends before you leave the house. Avoid the roots.

KEY INGREDIENTS

ARGAN OIL

The smoother. Rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it lies the cuticle flat to bring back shine and knock out frizz. The reason the hair feels different from the first application.

COCONUT OIL

The repairer. Uniquely small in molecular structure, so it penetrates the hair shaft instead of coating it — which is what makes it effective at helping damaged hair hold onto its protein.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

The softener. Light, fast-absorbing and vitamin-rich, it adds slip and manageability so hair detangles without tearing.

BOTANICAL OIL BLEND

PAIR WITH

Damaged hair responds to a system, not a single product.

The wash-day pairing. Sulphate-free, keratin-led, and gentle enough that you aren’t stripping out on Sunday what the oil put back in on Saturday. The conditioner in particular seals the cuticle down after every treatment.

Damaged hair breaks most when it’s being detangled. With the oil for slip and the right brush for the job, you stop losing length to your own hairbrush.

For overnight treatments. Our silk bonnet holds the oil in your hair instead of your pillowcase, and because silk doesn’t grip the way cotton does, you wake up without the friction, frizz and breakage.

Frequently asked questions

No — please don’t. The formula contains sweet almond oil, which is derived from a nut. If you have a nut allergy, the Rosemary Hair Oil Intense Growth Syrup is the one to look at instead.

Three different jobs. The Intense Growth Syrup works on the scalp and the conditions for growth. Castor & Camellia Root Renewal works on root strength and length retention. Bond Boost+ works on the hair itself — repairing, smoothing and protecting hair that’s already been damaged. If your problem is how your hair looks and feels rather than how much of it there is, this is the right one.

Yes, and it’s the only one of our oils designed for that. Use it as a pre-wash treatment once or twice a week, and as a leave-in or finishing oil as often as you like. Just keep daily use to the mid-lengths and ends.

It adds a light barrier and it will help, but it isn’t a substitute for a dedicated heat protectant if you’re using straighteners or tongs at high temperatures. Use both — oil first on damp hair, heat protectant over the top.

It will smooth and seal them so they stop travelling further up the shaft, and it will stop new ones forming. But no product permanently rejoins a split hair — only scissors do that. Keep up with trims and the oil will make them further apart.

Not at the right dose. Fine hair needs one to two drops for a dry finish, three at most as a leave-in, and always on the ends rather than the roots. Start with less than you think — you can always add more.

A small number of people find coconut oil doesn’t suit their hair, usually where it’s very protein-sensitive. Argan and sweet almond balance the blend considerably, but if you’ve had that reaction before, try it as a pre-wash treatment first before using it as a leave-in.

Absolutely — this is the oil built for it. Sealing the cuticle helps colour hold on rather than washing out. Leave 48 hours after a fresh colour service before your first treatment.

Shampoo before you wet your hair. Massage shampoo into the dry, oiled lengths, then add water and rinse. Follow with conditioner. It’s a lighter oil than our others, so one wash is usually enough.

Around two to three months with weekly treatments plus everyday use on the ends.

Stop use and rinse the area. As with any new product, patch test on the inner elbow 24 hours before first use if you have a sensitive or reactive scalp.
